Who we are

EMS Global Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission statement is:

"to assist globally in the modernization of the delivery of emergency medical care".

EMS Global was started as a grass roots movement and with most of the members of Polish origin focused on assisting the Republic of Poland as it seeks to modernize and reform its system of delivery of emergency medicine.

Over the past 13 years we have shipped hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical equipment to Poland; implemented physician exchange programs dedicated numerous lectures and seminars in Poland.

In the past 3 years our work has begun to expand in Poland and focus more on education. EMS Global has contracted with the American Heart Association (AHA) to develop a national infrastructure for AHA courses similar to those in the United States. The goal of this initiative is to standardize training of CPR and advanced techniques for laypersons, doctors, nurses and paramedics in Poland in order to reduce mortality and morbidity from heart attacks and strokes.

In addition to the American Heart Association courses EMS Global is looking to implement continuing education courses; lectures and training sessions to advance the knowledge and skills of first responders, paramedics, nurses and physicians in the treatment of acutely ill patients. We look forward to utilizing new technology and launching web based courses and to collaborate with other Polish organizations and society’s in improving emergency medicine in Poland.
